President of the Eurasia Heritage Foundation Elena Yatsenko and head of the CIS analysis group of the partner organization the «Development Center» Economic Studies Foundation Oskana Osipova took part in the third Conference on the Eurasian integration Issues.

The conference was held in the Kazakh city of Almaty on October 15–17, 2008. 

It was organized by the Eurasian Development Bank. The conference discussed the different aspects of regional integration in Eurasia: integration of the water-energy sectors, common energy markets, integration of the transportation networks, including the problems of transportation corridors, common institutional and financial aspects of the transboundary physical infrastructure.  

The conference covered the round table on measurement and assessment of integration processes.  

Elena Yatsenko presented the project «Rating of Integration of the New Independent States». Oksana Osipova made her presentations on «Rating of the CIS Integration: Objective Economic Indicators» and «Medium-Term Scenarios of the EAEC (Eurasian Economic Community) Development: Will the Investments Overcome the Demand Crisis?»
