The Single Economic Space: viability, implications and prospects

April-June 2005 the Eurasia Heritage Foundation conducted a survey «How experts and opinion makers assess the integration between the countries of the former Soviet Union». Politicians, businessmen, political scientists and journalists from the four countries of the Single Economic Space — Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine — were interviewed. In the project took part the leading sociological centers: the «NOVAK» Laboratory (Belarus), the «Image» Communicative Technologies Centre (Kazakhstan), the «ZIRCON» Research Group (Russia) and the Social Monitoring Centre (Ukraine). The results of the survey enable to compare assessments of the current situation and the future prospects of the integration processes in the CIS.  The text of the research paper may be downloaded in the MS Word format (in Russian), while the presentatation of the research is available in PowerPoint (in Russian).
