Security and stability problems in the Central Asian countries

The joint project of the Eurasia Heritage Foundation and the Faculty of World Politics of Lomonosov Moscow State University

Objectives:

Analysis of the urgent security issues of the Central Asian region and Russia 's interests in that area.
Working out modern interactive methods of student, undergraduate, and postgraduate training on dealing with the above-mentioned issues («brain storm», situation analysis discussion, role-plays, etc).
Supplying the educational programs at the Moscow State University with all analytical resources required.

Tasks:

To use highly professional Russian and foreign specialists (theory and practice) for preparation of analytical materials for the Faculty of World Politics of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
To introduce the students of the Faculty of World Politics of Lomonosov Moscow State University into the academic discussions and training them to actively participate in workshops and conferences.
To establish a faculty-based platform for exchanging opinions and expert assessments and for working out assessments and recommendations on the important problems of the Central Asian region.
To raise academic and expert students' awareness of these issues.
