Elena Kozievskaya, Director for Development of the Eurasia Heritage Foundation, took part in the workshop discussing the bill «On amendments into the Federal law "On the state policy of the Russian Federation towards the compatriots abroad"» No 99-FL dated May 24, 1999.

The workshop was organized by the Institute of the CIS Countries. 

The workshop examined the following issues: the importance of the bill introduced, the necessity and essence of the compatriot card and the rights for holders of the compatriot card.
