April-June. Within the framework of the project of the Eurasia Heritage Foundation the expert inquiry of politicians, businessmen and journalists on the subject “How experts and opinion makers assess the integration between the countries of the former Soviet Union” was conducted in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine - member states of the Single Economic Space. The leading sociologic centers of the four countries – the “NOVAK” Laboratory (Belarus), the “Image” Communicative Technologies Centre (Kazakhstan), the “ZIRCON” Research Group (Russia) and the Social Monitoring Centre (Ukraine) – were engaged in the project. This is the first research that enables to compare the assessments of the current situation and the future prospects of the integration processes in the CIS. The results of the expert inquiry allow to pinpoint the key problems accompanying the integration and to determine the gap between the ways the politicians, businessmen and journalists from the four countries see the regional integration process. The Eurasia Heritage Foundation is planning to arrange a presentation of the inquiry results. The announcements of the presentation will be published on the website of the Foundation.
